Tidwell's Treasure was formed in June 2007 by Timmy TIDWELL Jangl (drums), J Witbeck (bass), & the brothers Sean (guitar) & Griffin (keys) McMahon. The purpose: jam music, shred, & hucking. The band is named after Tim's treasure.

TIMMY TIDWELL JANGL plays drums. I have known him for around 10 years now. He named the b& - if I had my way it would have been named Counterpoint or something like that, but Tim has a knack for something. So it's called TIDWELL'S TREASURE after his brilliance. When he is not drumming, he is hucking a roof,  a cliff, shredding, & freestyle rapping in downtown New Haven, so far as I know.

J WITBECK plays the bass. Also, he plays the tuba in The Primate Fiasco. I have known him as long as Tim - he lives a few houses down from the Jangls. Jay would show up & play System of a Down songs & music from the Legend of Zelda video games on Tim's Casio (Casio?) electronic keyboard. He has a great sense of humor & an incredible goatee. He plays bass like a demon & says "Hilarious" a lot.

GRIFFIN McMAHON plays the keyboards. He is my younger brother so I have known him his entire life. He is actually looking over my shoulder now. "Hey!" says Griffin. He wants to check his e-mail right now. He's a great musician. It's weird to think that I knew him when he was only just a sperm cell. He also plays organ & one day he will buy a pedal board for his YAMAHA MO-8 if I have my way. I will probably battle him & then defeat him for this prize. He will now write about me.

SEAN McMAHON plays the guitar & sings extraordinaire. I have known him my ENTIRE life, as he was one of the first persons I saw following birth. If it weren't for this guy, I probably would have kept my h&s busy playing video games rather than the piano. Anyways, he is one of the most knowledgeable musicians I know & I've always had much respect for him (no, he didn't threaten me to write that). Sean is an inspiring fellow, being five years my senior, a gifted artist, & all-around good guy, & I think it's safe to say that if you allow yourself to sit back & listen to his music, you'll find yourself touched in a way you've never felt before.
